WOW!!! We had a blast at Corlee's 1st birthday. We were very blessed to have lots of family and friends around to help us celebrate! There are so many pictures I can not possibly post them all but I will try to give you a glance of how the party went.

Wow, How fast a year really does go!

Today we went to the park (with the rest of Forney) for a little bit and had a picnic with some friends. Corlee had the best time! She wore me out! She loved the swings and the slide! Then later we went to the see Chris, he had to work today :(
But Cole and Chloe had used their own money to but Corlee a gift and they did not want to wait until her party. They wanted her to have it ON her birthday. So we took it with us so that Chris could see her open it too! She loved it! It is a sweet little dog that teaches body parts, ABC's, and best of all it sings! Corlee loves music.... she loves to dance to any music!

We had a pretty busy day for such a little girl! Tonight I was cleaning up the kitchen and she brought her passy and blanky to me! This means bed time!!! Sweet Dreams Birthday Girl!

Decisions, Decisions.....

It is very sad, but true...Corlee will be 1 year old this week. I can't even think about it without getting sad. We have enjoyed her to pieces! I can not even imagine life without her. She has just been the best baby and is so full of life! Chris and I are really blessed!
Anyway...We had her 1st Birthday pics taken this week! Oh My Gosh!!! They are sooooo cute there is no way I will ever be able to choose! So go ahead and help me out.

Open House

It is such an awesome "parent" feeling to go to your child's school and only hear good things about your kids! I am very sorry that my parents nor Chris' parents ever had that experience!

Last night was Open House at the kids school. 2nd grade had been studying about the rain forest and rain forest animals. Cole had done some amazing research. He was also very proud to show off his AR (accelerated reader) achievements. He has been one of the top 5 point earners in his class for 2 six weeks in a row! I also got a sneak peek at his report card ...Only to learn that he made straight A's again! I am very proud of him!

Kindergarten had been learning about the USA. Chloe was very proud of her hat! She was also very eager to share some of her writing with me. Her teacher had out writing sample from December until now...wow it is so much fun to see their improvement! The learning process is just amazing to me! I did not get to see Chloe's report card but I did chat with her teacher for a while. So I feel confident that her report card will be glowing as well! He teacher kept referring to her as a helper, a leader, good friend...I sure am glad she can turn her bad behavior off for school time! Joking aside Chloe loves school and she thinks her teacher hung the moon! I could not ask for a more loving, nurturing, kind teacher for Chloe. Mrs. Tuley has made Chloe's love for school grow and grow!
