Happy Corlee...

To You...Happy Corlee To You...
That's how Corlee sings Happy Birthday! I can't believe that my baby girl is already 2!
She got to pick her party theme. It was a tough decision between Elmo and Tinkerbell but Elmo won! I'm pretty sure Elmo cupcakes were easier than Tinkerbell cake so I was happy!

She just hates all the attention...can't you tell!

Elmo was finger licking good!
Time for presents!!!
She loves her new sunglasses. She even knows how to push them up and wear them on top of her head like I do!
And lip gloss that looked like a lollipop...so she licked it!
Only took about a day for her to have it all eaten!

Happy Birthday Corlee
We Love You!

Spring Break

For Christmas Cole received what he thought was the coolest gift ever! He received tuition to go to the University of Texas Longhorns Baseball Camp! Problem was the camp wasn't until March! So guess where we went for Spring Break? Austin here we come! The camp was Monday through Wednesday from 9am-12pm so Cole played baseball in the mornings and we went sight seeing in the afternoons. Here they were getting organized by age group. Cole is in the 2nd line 2nd kid in line wearing the red shirt.
They worked on a little bit of everything...batting...

more work on that killer swing...

fielding...

(Cole's on 2nd)

They would scrimmage different age groups at the end of each day. That's Cole batting!

Cole actually "Knocked The Cover" off a ball during camp!
(I'm not saying that the stitches weren't already loose...but he did do some damage!)

On the last day we girls decided to go watch for a little while.

What if some day in the future Chris and I are sitting in these seats watching Cole play college ball! Wow I just gave myself chill bumps! We can all dream can't we!
Cole had a BLAST at camp and really learned alot! Who knows maybe he can go again someday!

Monday after camp we drove on down for an afternoon of fun at Sea World!

The kids all loved the shows although Chloe was terrified to watch the Shamu show. She was afraid the whale was going to eat her! Too much TV!

These creatures are beautiful and very smart!

Most mornings we girls spent time at the pool while the boys were playing ball. Our hotel had an indoor pool!

Then when we got back to the room Corlee usually found some kind of trouble to get into. Yep those are her Fruit Loops from breakfast all over the floor. When I found her she quickly stood up and said "pretty"!

Just a random shot of my Sassy 7 year old in her new hat that she just HAD to have!

On Wednesday after camp we took the kids to the State Capital. It was beautiful inside. The kids got to see where the governors office is, where the House of Representatives meets and the Senate meets. We had a great time.

(And yes there is an extra kid in some of our pictures. Many of you may know him. This is Aaron, he has been Cole's friend for several years and he is on Cole's baseball team. He also went to the camp and hung out with us for the week!)

We had a great time...But we were all TIRED and ready to get home!

Happy Birthday Corlee

Happy Corlee, Happy Corlee, Happy Corlee to you!!!
(That's how she has been singing it today!)

I honestly can believe that she is already 2! The time really has flown. I know I have said it before but we can't imagine our lives without this Lil Princess! She has such a happy spirit you just can't keep from smiling when you are around her!

We Love You Corlee!

Mother Son Nerf Night

Last weekend Cole and I got to attend Mother/Son Nerf Night at our church. We had a really good time. They had a large room lit up with black lights and lots of graffiti on the walls. Moms on 1 side of the room and sons on the other side! And away we fired! They also had a large inflatable dodge ball pit...There were NO moms in there! It smelled like stinky feet! Afterwards we got to enjoy "guy" food. Pizza, hot dogs, war heads, sour straws, and other sweets too! A really good time was had by all!
The front of their shirts said "My Mom Rocks"The back of their shirt had their nickname.

Our shirts said "My Son Rocks"...These shirts were a hit!

Again we had a really good time! With 3 kids it is really hard to have 1 on 1 time with any of them so this was an extra special treat for Cole and I !
