Snow Day 2010

Or maybe I should say snow DAYS!!! I have never seen this much snow in my life. It was fun, the kids really enjoyed it but it sure makes me gald I live in Texas. I would not want to deal with this for an entire winter! View of the front of our house.

Poor Corlee has been home bound since Wednesday because she has RSV so she was unable to enjoy the snow. But she watched out the window!

"Home" Project

AKA "Mom" Project

I am not a huge fan of "home" projects or "family" projects. That's probably why I never assign very many to my students! These projects always seem to turn into "mom" projects. Chloe's class had been learning about Fairy Tales so they had to disguise the wolf! She came up with the idea that she wanted to make him into a fireman...then the rest was up to me!

As much as I dislike doing the actual project I am always proud of my work! Chloe really did help! She did all the coloring and gluing. I just wouldn't let her cut with my sharp sewing scissors!
